Many, many years ago, all of the animal gods teamed up to make our planet. The head gods where responsible for creating our planet, while the other gods and goddesses created what’s on it and within it today. The canine goddess of creation, Jia, used her powers to create less godly creatures that resembled her. They were powerless and small. Jia called those the mortals. The other goddesses of creation made little mortals that resembled themselves too. The canine element god, Toychio, and other element gods used their powers to make the land a liveable place for the less godly creatures. Cylina was the first region they created, and is the one that we live in now.
Not too long after the creation of Cylina and the rest of the world, Jia gave birth to Toychio’s first son. The baby god was tiny, but shone brightly like a star; they decided to name him Raito. Unlike most baby gods, he was gifted the power of both his mother and father, and was able to perform many miracles. Because of this, he was sent to Cylina to protect the Psychics; which he thought was unfair. So, on every full moon, Raito would fly to the peak of his home, the Temple of Heaven, and howl the song of healing; so that every moral would be cured from any sickness and be rejuvenated...though this didn’t save anyone from death.
One day, the moon rose in front of the sun; this was the first solar eclipse. Without hesitation, Raito flew to the Temple and did his howl; however, the howl did not affect the morals, instead, two small wolves, black and white, fell from the sky. Raito summoned the twins Yuki and Hakujou, the elements of light and darkness, without meaning to. Though Raito had the power of seal them again, he decided to keep them with him.
And that’s the story of Raito and the Elements of Light and Dark.
